  1. Awards for Bas van Leeuwen
    December 2008
    Bas van Leeuwen, employee at Svašek Hydraulics, has been awarded both the "Best graduate Civil Engineering and Management" prize 2008 from the University of Twente and the "KVWN/NVA thesis prize" from the newly established Waternetwerk.
    The prizes have been awarded for his work on the influence of mussel beds on fine sediment dynamics in the Dutch Wadden Sea.

    A short summary of the graduation project will appear in the December 5 issue of H2O and a paper is under review for publication in Ecological Engineering.
  2. Computation Power Svašek Hydraulics exceeds 1 Tera FLOP
    November 2008
    With the purchase of the latest multi processor machine our computer cluster now consists of 20 cluster machines (118 cores) with a theoretical peak performance of 1,15 TFLOPS (more than 1 trillion (1012) computations per second).

  3. Presentation of Katwijk Marina
    October 2008
    On Monday 20 October Svašek Hydraulics and her partners Aannemingsbedrijf Van der Poel Terneuzen, FUNDEX and ARCAS Europe have presented the Katwijk Marina Masterplan.
